My name is Miriam Bahena-Cardona Bisby, I offer modern papel picado designs. "Wátchale! Designs" is named after the slang "Wátchale!" which my grandfather convinced me was a real Spanish word meaning 'Watch Out!' for years. Papel picado is the art form of paper cutting which you may have seen via banners for weddings, Day of the Dead, and so on. They are traditionally made out of colorful tissue paper.
